It’s often said that women are a mystery,
Their thoughts and feelings, an enigma to me,
I try my best to listen and understand,
But sometimes it seems like I’m on quicksand.
They say one thing, but mean another,
Their words and actions, often at odds with each other,
I’m left wondering, what did I do wrong,
Why can’t I figure out where I belong.
But maybe it’s not so black and white,
Perhaps it’s just a matter of sight,
For women are complex, multi-layered beings,
With thoughts and feelings, beyond my seeing.
So maybe it’s time to stop trying to solve,
The puzzle of women, that I can’t seem to evolve,
Instead, I’ll embrace the mystery and wonder,
And trust that understanding will come, like thunder.
For when I stop trying to figure it all out,
And just be present, without any doubt,
I’ll find a world full of beauty and grace,
And a feminine aspect, that I can embrace.
